Cancún, Mexico

Mexico City is the nation’s capital. Vibrant, multifaceted, and always on the move. It is the political, economic, and cultural core of the Mexican Republic. However, Cancun is one of Mexico’s largest and most popular resort destinations, hosting millions of visitors from around the world each year

Cancún, a Mexican city on the Yucatán Peninsula bordering the Caribbean Sea, is known for its beaches, numerous resorts, and nightlife. It’s composed of 2 distinct areas: the more traditional downtown area, El Centro, and Zona Hotelera, a long, beachfront strip of high-rise hotels, nightclubs, shops, and restaurants. The most popular time to visit Cancun is from December through April. The weather is generally clear and warm, but not too hot. Expect temps between 75 and 90 degrees, as well as little rain.

As a big country, there are so many Mexico destinations. From the beautiful beaches of the Yucatan Peninsula and culturally rich Southern Mexico to the charming colonial cities in Central Mexico and laid-back Baja California; Mexico offers a travel destination for everyone. While in Cancun, taxi over to Tulum. Tulum is a town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It’s known for its beaches and well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port city. Take a flight over to Cabo San Lucas, the Mexican destination that offers a perfect combination of great weather and spectacular scenery. Los Cabos is located on the tip of the 800-mile-long Baja California Peninsula, with the Sea of Cortez on one shore and the Pacific Ocean on the other. San Miguel de Allende (SMA, for short) is in Central Mexico, about 3.5 hours from Mexico City.
Mexico City is bursting at the seams with fascinating museums, both grand and far-reaching and intimate and focused. Whether your interests lie in art, architecture, anthropology, or history there’s something just for you in this world capital. Another beach destination with a taste of Mexico is Puerto Vallarta. Puerto Vallarta is defined by the natural charm of its beaches embraced by the Sierra Madre mountains.
